One of six children, Edwin Reuben Hawkins was born on August 19 1943 and grew up in Oakland, California. He loved the Massillon Tigers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, golf, singing, and most of all his family, and countless friends.

Glenn is survived by his wife Hope, son Kenny (Susan) and granddaughter Addison of Canton, GA, son Adam of Massillon, sister Janice Bell (Glenn), sisters-in-law Judy Hughes (Ronnie) and Melva Farris, nephews Mark, Daniel, Ronald, Ryan, Lewis and nieces Alma and Melinda.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8 from 2:00 5:00pm at the Massillon Church of Christ located at 915 State Ave NE, followed by a service on Monday, January 9 at 11:00am, also at the church.
